Waiting

I wait for them to LIFT, from the
Depression,
Anger,
Anxiety,
Sadness,
Pain,
Chronic headaches,
Loneliness
And fear

I speak less and less of them because my words are used against me. My thoughts and actions betray me in a way I cannot explain or defend.

Add two more pills to the box and hope that the my elaborate cocktail comes with a light buffet.

None of it changes the bitter cold that is descending upon us or the holidays the blacken the sky.
